I've owned a few different cases for my iPhone 4 and none of them really cut it. My problem is that I actually do often need to take the case off my phone to place it in a sound dock. The constant removal and replacing of the plastic cases eventually caused them to crack and break. $30 bucks down the drain.This Rokform Fuzion case solved a host of my problems.Pros:- The aluminum case is both stylish and functional. The black cover on the bottom of the phone slides off easily so it can be docked. Most cases make the phone too bulky to fit. For me, this was a big time selling point.- For my iPhone 4 (I do not have a 4S) the Fuzion slides on and off perfectly. The case is just snug enough to feel like a quality fit. Not so tight that I feel like I am damaging my phone.- Talk about a quality feel. You'll earn a new respect for your phone just holding it. This case makes it feel SOLID and complements the natural sleekness of the iPhone nicely.Cons:- The metal is not particularly comfortable on the ear for long conversations. I don't use my phone primarily for talking but if a family member calls I've learned to keep my earbuds close, my speaker phone ready, or my conversations brief.- There is no rubber between the metal casing and the phone, so drops on concrete can still shock the phone.I used to own an iPhone 5 but after a sob story I killed that phone and had to return to my trusty iPhone 4. This case has helped renew my affection for the phone and I've enjoyed it so much more than my other cases I'm bummed that Rokform doesn't make a similar case for the iPhone 5. I have found the drawbacks on this case to be minimal and, while it is relatively expensive, has that quality feel that every time I pick it up I'm reminded how different it is.If you are looking for a metal case for your iPhone, this is definitely one to consider. If you are looking for a quality case that can easily fit into a dock, well, there isn't a better option on the market that I know of.
